Q. What are Pittsburgh Steelers Seat Licenses (PSL's) and what are the benefits of owning a seat license?

A. Pittsburgh Steelers personal Seat License allows the holder the right to buy season tickets, for face value, directly from the Steelers, for a particular seat at Heinz Field, for all Steelers Home Games. As long as the holder continues to purchase the season tickets each year, the holder has the right to transfer his or her rights to the seats to whomever they chose. This enables fans to bypass the waiting list, and become a season ticket holder NOW!

As a PSL Holder, you also receive the rights to purchase playoff tickets for "your seats", a chance to participate in the Superbowl Lottery, if the Steelers participate, and the opportunity to buy exclusive tickets for select other events at Heinz Field. Not to mention, the bragging rights! (back)

Q. Are all seat licenses at Heinz Field transferable?

A. No. Sections 101, 144, 219, 226 and 518-527 are not transferable. In addition, the Steelers have a "buyback option" for the North Club Sections, giving them the right to buyback the seat licenses. Please contact us for further information regarding North Club Seat Licenses. (back)

Q. How long does it usually take for PSL transfers?

A. Seat License Transfers take from just a few days to a few weeks to complete. Method of buyer payment and completion of required transfer paperwork are just a few of the variables. (back)

Q. Can I contact the Buyer or Seller?

A. A Fan's Best Friend does all of the negotiating for you, keeping transactions anonymous until completion of transfer. If you have a question for the buyer or seller, please submit it to us, and we will be glad to pass that along for you. (back)

Q. What are the Fees?

A. Fees, costs, and commissions are determined on a case-to-case basis. All fees, costs, and/or commissions will be fully disclosed and agreed to, prior to any postings of any listing, and may vary from listing-to-listing for the buyer. (back)

Q. What happens if the transfer is not completed?

A. No monies are dispersed until the transaction is complete, in the event the transfer is not completed for ant reason, buyer would receive a full refund, including any fees. (back)

Q. What if I want to buy only some of the Seat Licenses in a listing?

A. Contact us and we will contact the seller to find out if he/she is willing to split the seats for you, and their requested price. (back)

Q. Can I buy just the tickets in a PSL listing?

A. No. Unless specified, the season tickets are not for sale separately from the seat licenses. Please contact us through Special Orders for individual Steelers game tickets or whole season tickets; we'll do our best to meet your needs. (back)
